Collin turned two months on Monday June 29, 2009 and is 11lbs 5oz 23in long he is 95% in weight and 45% in height. Wow does time fly when you get consumed with baby things! Since Collin turned two months old he had to get his first round of shots. Talk about heartbreaking moments, I could not watch the doctor stick my son with needles since I myself can't even watch them come near me. When I heard his painful cry I had to hold back my tears and be strong and comforting for him. Luckily Grammy Penland was with us, she couldn't watch either. The rest of the day he slept soundly as I was watching him closely since the doctor said they could stop breathing or have seizures. He was completely fine of course. His injection sites didn't even hurt him as he was in the bath kicking and having the time of his life.
The week prior we noticed that Collin's eye was getting a lot of gunk in it. I thought it was because he was developing his tear ducts but sadly to say it wasn't just because of that. We went to the doctor Friday morning to find out he had pink eye. He is such a champ when it comes to taking medicine even when I have to put it into his eyes. Now he has no sign of pink eye after six days being on antibiotics. Thank goodness!
For the past month nights have been very long and stressful. Collin has colic and it normally comes around 4pm till about 8pm then he falls fast asleep. My mother had told me about peppermint oil and water helps calm them down, as well as chamomile oil. Well with much to my surprise it worked! We also have been going to the chiropractor and have been getting adjust, both of us, it has helped in so many ways. So with everything piling up these past two weeks have been very stressful with Collin but I love every minute that he smiles at me and lets me know he is perfectly okay and that life will go on.

We have not received his passport yet which makes me very angry and anxious to get over with Iain. He has been having to live in our new house setting things up without me. I have seen everything he has done so far with making our house a home on sykpe and he has done such a good job. At night I have been picturing how I want to decorate in each room and can't wait till I can actually put everything together. This past week I have been on Fort Carson finishing everything I can get done from Collin's appointment to setting up our last move. I have been told we should be getting Collin's passport next week so hopefully we can leave soon. That is our last piece to the puzzle and hopefully nothing else keeps us here.
